Our Policy
Do’s (Resident Responsibilities)
1. Maintain Cleanliness: Keep your room and common areas clean and tidy at all times.
2. Follow Timings: Residents must return to the hostel before 10:00 PM daily. Late entries are not allowed without prior permission.
3. No Eating in Rooms: Consumption of food inside the rooms is strictly prohibited. Use the designated dining area only.
4. Proper Waste Disposal: All residents must dispose of solid and wet waste separately in thedesignated bins. Waste must not be dumped in rooms, corridors, or bathrooms.
5. Report Issues: Report any maintenance or safety issues to the warden or management immediately.
6. Use Property Responsibly: Use water, electricity, and other hostel resources responsibly.
7. Guests Policy: Only family members are allowed to visit. Friends or unrelated guests are strictly not permitted inside rooms.
8. Noise Control: Keep noise levels low, especially after 10:00 PM.
9. Secure Your Key: Residents must keep their room key safe at all times. In case of loss, a fine of ₹500 will be charged for replacement.
10. Liability for Damages: If any damage is caused to hostel property, the resident responsible will be required to bear the full cost of repair or replacement.
11. Permitted Devices Only: Residents are allowed to use only laptops and iron boxes inside their rooms. Use of any other electrical appliances is strictly prohibited.
12. Rent Revision Policy: There will be a 10% increase in rent every 12 months of continuous stay.
Don’ts (Prohibited Activities)
1. No Alcohol or Drugs: Possession or consumption of alcohol, drugs, or illegal substances is strictly prohibited.
2. No Smoking: Smoking is not allowed inside the hostel premises.
3. No Unauthorized Visitors: Bringing outsiders into rooms without prior permission is not allowed.
4. No Cooking in Rooms: Cooking is only allowed in designated kitchen areas.
5. No Alterations: Do not make any alterations to the room or hostel property without written permission.
6. No Loud Music or Parties: Parties and loud music are not allowed inside rooms or common areas.
7. No Theft or Tampering: Stealing or tampering with others’ belongings or hostel property will result in immediate expulsion.
Advance Refund Policy
1. Advance Payment Requirement: All residents are required to pay a refundable advance at the time of admission or room booking, which will be adjusted in the final month’s rent (if applicable and notice is served properly).
2. No Refund for Early Vacating Without Notice: If a resident vacates the room without providing at least 30 days’ written notice, the advance will not be refunded under any circumstances.
3. Partial Stay Does Not Qualify: No partial refund will be provided if a resident stays for part of the month and chooses to leave early.
4. Refund Process with Proper Notice: If proper 30-day notice is given and there are no damages, pending dues, or policy violations, the balance of the advance will be refunded within 15 working days of vacating.
5. Deductions from Advance: Any unpaid rent, damage charges, lost key fines, or other dues will be deducted from the advance
before issuing any refund.
Disciplinary Action
Violation of any rule may lead to a warning, fine, or termination of accommodation.
